Mission Nuestra Senora de la Asuncion

The Mission Church at Zia Pueblo was originally built in 1693. It is a strong, simple form distinguished by the paintings of a horse on either side of the balcony door. Unlike many of the mission churches, it does not have two bell towers on the facade.
