Mission Espada Chapel

San Antonio, TX

This was the first mission established within the boundaries of Spanish Texas, re-established in 1726 and finally moved to San Antonio in 1731. It is a jewel of a structure because of its small size and excellent proportions. The delicate flowers, photos and lace evoke emotional memories of its past.
